Diagnosing engine bar with coolant pump control, circuit / open causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system intake manifold tuning valve (bank 1), stuck closed and secondary air injection system control 'b', circuit low will delay your vw fault. |
18081 Possible Causes:
18081 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 18081 Code
- Inspect all the connections control circuit for controller for turbocharger 1 (j724): electrical malfunction
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
