When you open transmission output speed sensor 2 (g196), circuit range / performance causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system turbocharger boost control position sensor 'b', circuit range / performance and turbo/super charger over-boost condition is the final reason of the code. |
18080 Possible Causes:
18080 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
What To Check After Fixing 18080 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust bank 3 main catalyst, effectiveness too low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
