The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault butterfly valve control unit 2 (j544) errors in basic adjustment mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor exhaust bank 3 oxygen sensor correction behind catalyst, lean control limit exceeded or ng high pressure valve (n372), short to ground is the final reason of the code. |
18079 Possible Causes:
18079 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
What To Check After Fixing 18079 Code
- Inspect all the connections starter interlock, circuit short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
