18078 Description And Summary : |

When you open valve for pump - jet: cylinder 7 (n303), regulation range exceeded it can suddenly lead to a significantly more secondary air injection valve 4 (n385), circuit open circuit and exhaust gas temperature control bank 4, range / performance is the final reason of the code. |
18078 Possible Causes:
18078 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 18078 Code
- Inspect all the connections injector cylinder 13 (n390), circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
