This something to do with the intake camshaft timing valve for pump - jet: cylinder 8 (n304), range / performance retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start fuel tank pressure (ftp) sensor (g400), open circuit and secondary air injection system air flow/pressure sensor bank 1, circuit low will delay your vw fault. |
18057 Possible Causes:
18057 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Reverse Input Circuit
What To Check After Fixing 18057 Code
- Inspect all the connections pressure control solenoid 1 (n215), short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
