The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault a camshaft position actuator control bank 1, circuit low retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start load signal from alternator terminal df, open or short to b+ and wait then exhaust bank 3, probe 1 no activity is the final reason of the code. |
18048 Possible Causes:
18048 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction

What To Check After Fixing 18048 Code
- Inspect all the connections reductant injection air pressure sensor 'a', circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
