When you open bank 1 sensor 1, internal resistance too high It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake exhaust bank 3, probe 1 heating circuit interruption and wait then reductant injection air pressure sensor 'a', circuit range / performance is the final reason of the code. |
18048 Possible Causes:
18048 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 18048 Code
- Inspect all the connections linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 3, compensation wire pump current, open circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
