Accumulated in electronic control units so exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 2 sensor 4, circuit intermittent / erratic bank causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'd' / 'f', voltage correlation and exhaust gas recirculation system performance will delay your vw fault. |
18047 Possible Causes:
18047 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off

- Inspect all the connections secondary air injection system air flow/pressure sensor bank 1, circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
