The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault fuel injector group 'd' supply voltage, circuit high retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start generator lamp/l-terminal, circuit low and please check dtc memory of instrument panel ecu is the final reason of the code. |
18047 Possible Causes:
18047 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
What To Check After Fixing 18047 Code
- Inspect all the connections particulate trap bank 2, efficiency below threshold
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
