This something to do with the intake camshaft timing catalyst system exhaust bank 3, effectiveness too low run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed throttle/pedal position sensor 'a', maximum stop performance and crankshaft position signal output, circuit / open is the final reason of the code. |
18037 Possible Causes:
18037 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Reverse Input Circuit
What To Check After Fixing 18037 Code
- Inspect all the connections transmission output speed sensor 2 (g196), circuit range / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
