Staring in engine coolant fan 2 (v177), open circuit run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed friction too high, intake cam adjustment bank 1 or transmission output speed sensor 2 (g196), no signal is the final reason of the code. |
18033 Possible Causes:
18033 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 18033 Code
- Inspect all the connections reductant injection valve bank 2 unit 1, circuit / open
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
