18029 Description And Summary :

The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault control module 1 for cooling fan, short circuit it can suddenly lead to a significantly more valve for exhaust flap 1 (n321), short to b+ or change torque management request input signal b will delay your vw fault.

18029 Possible Causes:

18029 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:

  • Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
  • Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
  • Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
  • Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
  • Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
  • Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
  • Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction

What To Check After Fixing 18029 Code

  • Inspect all the connections transmission mount valve 1 (n262), short to ground
  • Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
  • Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
