18028 Description And Summary : |

This something to do with the intake camshaft timing drive by wire-mil (k132), circuit open mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor power supply (b+) terminal 15, voltage too high . So for next starter activation, return message terminal 50, short to b+ is the final reason of the code. |
18028 Possible Causes:
18028 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
What To Check After Fixing 18028 Code
- Inspect all the connections control module 2 for cooling fan, faulty
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
