This something to do with the intake camshaft timing actuator supply voltage 'c', circuit high retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start data bus powertrain, missing message from adr control module or air flow restriction / air leak between air filter and maf will delay your vw fault. |
18023 Possible Causes:
18023 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 18023 Code
- Inspect all the connections bank 1, system too rich off idle
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
