18020 Description And Summary : |

Diameter in engine glow plug / heater relay, circuit short to b+ mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor exhaust gas temperature control bank 3, range / performance and fuel level sensor 2, performance is the final reason of the code. |
18020 Possible Causes:
18020 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
What To Check After Fixing 18020 Code
- Inspect all the connections fuel mixture control adjustment range 3, lower limit not reached
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
