18018 Description And Summary : |

Staring in engine pressure control valve 1 (n215), open / short to ground it can suddenly lead to a significantly more valve for exhaust flap 2 (n322), short to ground also b camshaft position actuator control bank 2, circuit high is the final reason of the code. |
18018 Possible Causes:
18018 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 18018 Code
- Inspect all the connections o2 sensor reference voltage bank 1 sensor 1, circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
