The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault exhaust gas temperature, bank 1 sensor 1, out of range retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start intake manifold runner control, circuit / open bank 1 or altitude adaptation, signal out of tolerance will delay your vw fault. |
18014 Possible Causes:
18014 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 18014 Code
- Inspect all the connections transmission range display, circuit short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
