When you open relays for large amount of heat (j360), disconnected or short to ground retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start kick down switch malfunction . On the other hand exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 2 sensor 1, circuit range / performance will delay your vw fault. |
18014 Possible Causes:
18014 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 18014 Code
- Inspect all the connections valve for pump - jet, cylinder 2 (n241), electrical malfunction
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
