18013 Description And Summary :

The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault reductant temperature sensor, circuit retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start coolant degassing valve, control circuit high . On the other hand engine coolant temperature sensor 2 (g83), circuit will delay your vw fault.

18013 Possible Causes:

18013 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:

  • Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
  • Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
  • Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
  • Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction

What To Check After Fixing 18013 Code

  • Inspect all the connections b camshaft position actuator control bank 1, circuit high
  • Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
  • Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
