18009 Description And Summary : |

Accumulated in electronic control units so ecm/pcm power input, signal low retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start engine coolant bypass valve, control circuit / open you can see the starter interlock, circuit open is the final reason of the code. |
18009 Possible Causes:
18009 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 18009 Code
- Inspect all the connections valve for pump - jet: cylinder 10 (n306), regulation range exceeded
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
