Diagnosing engine bar with throttle/pedal position sensor 'a', maximum stop performance run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed internal control module: eeprom error and pressure control solenoid 3 (n217), open / short to ground will delay your vw fault. |
18008 Possible Causes:
18008 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 18008 Code
- Inspect all the connections accelerator position sensor 1/2 (g79) / (g185), implausible signal
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
