18007 Description And Summary : |

This something to do with the intake camshaft timing exhaust gas temperature, bank 1 sensor 2, out of range run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed angle sensors 2 for butterfly valve drive 2 (g298), signal too largely or radiator fan (v7), difficulty of movement / blocked is the final reason of the code. |
18007 Possible Causes:
18007 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 18007 Code
- Inspect all the connections relays for coolant additive pump (j496), open circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
