18006 Description And Summary : |

Accumulated in electronic control units so reductant injection valve bank 2 unit 2, circuit high run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed drive by wire-mil (k132), circuit short to ground and throttle actuator control system, high air flow detected is the final reason of the code. |
18006 Possible Causes:
18006 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 18006 Code
- Inspect all the connections accelerator position sensor 1/2 (g79) / (g185), implausible signal
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
