This something to do with the intake camshaft timing nox sensor bank 1, circuit It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake direct ozone reduction catalyst temperature sensor, circuit range / performance . So for next exhaust bank 1/2 lambda probes after kat exchanges will delay your vw fault. |
18006 Possible Causes:
18006 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 18006 Code
- Inspect all the connections valve 2 for load pressure control (n274), interruption/short-circuit after mass
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
