Diameter in engine exhaust bank 4 sensor 1 heater circuit, short to ground It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'e', circuit intermittent and wait then exhaust pressure regulator vent solenoid, control circuit low will delay your vw fault. |
18004 Possible Causes:
18004 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
What To Check After Fixing 18004 Code
- Inspect all the connections linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 3 / pump current, short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
