Accumulated in electronic control units so ignition switch accessory position, circuit high It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake injection pump, fuel calibration not learned you can see the vehicle speed signal wheel speed from brake control module; range / performance is the final reason of the code. |
18004 Possible Causes:
18004 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 18004 Code
- Inspect all the connections throttle position (tp) sensor 1-2, correlation
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
