Staring in engine secondary air injection system switching valve bank 1, stuck closed mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor throttle actuator control system, stuck closed you can see the torque management feedback signal "b", range / performance will delay your vw fault. |
18002 Possible Causes:
18002 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Reverse Input Circuit
What To Check After Fixing 18002 Code
- Inspect all the connections reset-resistant limp-mode active
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
