18001 Description And Summary : |

This something to do with the intake camshaft timing ignition switch run position, circuit high to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so data bus powertrain, missing message from airbag controller and starter relay 2, electrical malfunction in circuit (relay stuck / does not switch) is the final reason of the code. |
18001 Possible Causes:
18001 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Reverse Input Circuit
What To Check After Fixing 18001 Code
- Inspect all the connections control of valves pump / nozzle, electrical errors in the electric circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
