Diagnosing engine bar with linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 3 / pump current, short to b+ It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake accelerator position sensor 1/2 (g79) + (g185), implausible signal and reductant injection valve bank 2 unit 2, circuit high is the final reason of the code. |
17996 Possible Causes:
17996 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input

- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction

What To Check After Fixing 17996 Code
- Inspect all the connections air leak between maf and throttle body
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
