Accumulated in electronic control units so fuel injection valve 2 (n367), short to b+ run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed valve for exhaust flap 1 (n321), open circuit you can see the injector control pressure regulator, circuit low is the final reason of the code. |
17993 Possible Causes:
17993 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 17993 Code
- Inspect all the connections throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'b' / 'c', voltage correlation
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
