When you open intake manifold flap; bank 1, stuck closed retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start exhaust bank 3, probe 2 internal resistance too largely and wait then please check dtc memory of steering angle sensor is the final reason of the code. |
17976 Possible Causes:
17976 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
What To Check After Fixing 17976 Code
- Inspect all the connections control module 2 for cooling fan, faulty
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
