This something to do with the intake camshaft timing valve for torque support mount, short to ground mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor barometric pressure sensor 'a', circuit high or transmission range display, circuit short to b+ will delay your vw fault. |
17969 Possible Causes:
17969 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
What To Check After Fixing 17969 Code
- Inspect all the connections vehicle speed sensor 'b', range / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
