This something to do with the intake camshaft timing exhaust bank 1/2 lambda probes after kat exchanges the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles a/c control module requested, mil illumination and glow plug / heater indicator (k29), circuit open / short to ground will delay your vw fault. |
17951 Possible Causes:
17951 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
What To Check After Fixing 17951 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 2 sensor 4, circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
