Staring in engine intake manifold tuning (imt) valve position sensor / switch bank 1, circuit run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed shift lock, open and wait then please check dtc memory of central electric ecu is the final reason of the code. |
17949 Possible Causes:
17949 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
What To Check After Fixing 17949 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas recirculation cooling valve control, circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
