Staring in engine tiptronic switch recognition, circuit short to ground causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system data bus powertrain, missing message from adr control module or direct ozone reduction catalyst deterioration sensor, circuit high is the final reason of the code. |
17939 Possible Causes:
17939 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction

- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 17939 Code
- Inspect all the connections engine coolant temperature sensor 2 (g83), circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
