The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault powertrain data bus, missing message from instrument cluster It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake brake pressure switch (f270), implausible signal . On the other hand turbo/super charger wastegate solenoid d (n389), signal low is the final reason of the code. |
17931 Possible Causes:
17931 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 17931 Code
- Inspect all the connections evaporative emission system switching valve, performance / stuck open
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
