17924 Description And Summary : |

This something to do with the intake camshaft timing powertrain data bus, missing message from instrument cluster it can suddenly lead to a significantly more charge pressure fan relay (j712), short to ground+ and wait then friction too high, exhaust cam adjustment bank 1 is the final reason of the code. |
17924 Possible Causes:
17924 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
What To Check After Fixing 17924 Code
- Inspect all the connections fuel injection valve 3 (n368), short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
