When you open please check dtc memory of ecu number 2 the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 3 / pump current, open circuit . On the other hand ignition coil 'f' secondary circuit, malfunction is the final reason of the code. |
17920 Possible Causes:
17920 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
What To Check After Fixing 17920 Code
- Inspect all the connections controller for radiator exhaust oh run (j138), short-circuit after pluses
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
