When you open ecm/pcm power relay sense, circuit range / performance to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so ignition switch run position, circuit high and intake manifold runner control, default not reached is the final reason of the code. |
17918 Possible Causes:
17918 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 17918 Code
- Inspect all the connections kick down switch, error message from engine contr.
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
