The problem is about fuel pump, electronics faulty retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 4 / pump current, short to ground you can see the ignition coil 'i' primary control, circuit low is the final reason of the code. |
17917 Possible Causes:
17917 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 17917 Code
- Inspect all the connections throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'e', circuit intermittent
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
