Diameter in engine exhaust gas temperature sensor 2 bank 1 (g448), range / performance mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor drive by wire-mil (k132), circuit electrical malfunction and drive by wire-mil (k132), circuit open is the final reason of the code. |
17917 Possible Causes:
17917 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 17917 Code
- Inspect all the connections data-bus powertrain, missing message from fuel injection pump
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
