Diameter in engine powertrain databus, implausible engine temperature message from inst. retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start exhaust gas temperature bank 1, too high and wait then o2 sensor reference voltage bank 2 sensor 1, circuit high is the final reason of the code. |
17914 Possible Causes:
17914 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 17914 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust bank 3 oxygen sensor before catalyst, heater circuit, regulation at upper limit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
