When you open data bus powertrain, missing message from instruments panel ecu mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor vehicle speed signal, circuit short to b+ or coolant fan control 2: open or short to ground is the final reason of the code. |
17902 Possible Causes:
17902 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
What To Check After Fixing 17902 Code
- Inspect all the connections ignition switch accessory position, circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
