Diagnosing engine bar with pressure control solenoid 3 (n217), short to b+ the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles relays for small amount of heat (j359), short-circuit after pluses or intake manifold runner position sensor / switch, circuit low bank 1 will delay your vw fault. |
17900 Possible Causes:
17900 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
What To Check After Fixing 17900 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 2 sensor 5, circuit range / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
