Staring in engine system too lean at higher load, bank 2 the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles vehicle speed signal wheel speed from brake control module; range / performance and cooling bypass valve 2, exhaust gas recirculation flow, electrical will delay your vw fault. |
179 Possible Causes:
179 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
What To Check After Fixing 179 Code
- Inspect all the connections o2 sensor reference voltage bank 2 sensor 1, circuit / open
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
