179 Description And Summary : |

Staring in engine intake manifold runner control, lower stop not reached mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor exhaust gas recirculation cooling valve control, circuit low and nox sensor bank 2, circuit is the final reason of the code. |
179 Possible Causes:
179 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 179 Code
- Inspect all the connections fuel pressure regulator 2 control circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
