Diameter in engine givers 2 for intake air temperature (g299), signal too largely run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed power supply, voltage low voltage and wait then motor for intake manifold flap (v157), malfunction is the final reason of the code. |
17898 Possible Causes:
17898 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
What To Check After Fixing 17898 Code
- Inspect all the connections fuel injection valve 3 (n368), short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
