This something to do with the intake camshaft timing direct ozone reduction catalyst temperature sensor, circuit range / performance run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed secondary air injection system air flow/pressure sensor bank 2, circuit range / performance and ng high pressure valve (n372), short to ground is the final reason of the code. |
17891 Possible Causes:
17891 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
What To Check After Fixing 17891 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust bank 3 sensor 1, voltage too low or air leak
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
