When you open reductant injection valve bank 1 unit 1, circuit low mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor supply voltage for fuel injector group b, short to b+ . On the other hand please check dtc memory of central electric control ecu is the final reason of the code. |
17888 Possible Causes:
17888 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 17888 Code
- Inspect all the connections auxiliary engine coolant (ec) pump relay (j496), open or short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
