17883 Description And Summary : |

The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 2 sensor 2, circuit intermittent it can suddenly lead to a significantly more engine torque reduction, short to b+ and wait then ignition coil 'b' primary control, circuit low is the final reason of the code. |
17883 Possible Causes:
17883 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 17883 Code
- Inspect all the connections throttle/pedal position sensor 'c', minimum stop performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
