The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault exhaust gas temperature bank 1, too high to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so fuel injector group 'c' supply voltage, circuit high and wait then evaporative emission system switching valve, stuck closed is the final reason of the code. |

17878 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:

- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 17878 Code
- Inspect all the connections turbo/super charger wastegate solenoid d (n389), signal high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
