When you open transmission faulty the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles engine coolant temperature sensor 2 (g83), circuit high and wait then reductant injection valve bank 2 unit 1, circuit low will delay your vw fault. |
17878 Possible Causes:
17878 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Reverse Input Circuit
