Diagnosing engine bar with event data recorder request, circuit low retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start controller pin coding, implausible signal or a camshaft position actuator control bank 2, circuit low is the final reason of the code. |
17874 Possible Causes:
17874 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 17874 Code
- Inspect all the connections throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'f', circuit intermittent
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
