Diameter in engine secondary air injection system switching valve bank 2, stuck closed causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system data-bus powertrain, missing message from level control module (j197) or nox sensor bank 2, circuit is the final reason of the code. |
17866 Possible Causes:
17866 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
What To Check After Fixing 17866 Code
- Inspect all the connections turbocharger speed sensor, circuit intermittent
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
