This something to do with the intake camshaft timing reductant injection air pump control, circuit high it can suddenly lead to a significantly more exhaust pressure sensor 2, high or change ignition coil 'i' primary control, short to plus is the final reason of the code. |
17865 Possible Causes:
17865 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 17865 Code
- Inspect all the connections linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 3 / common ground wire, short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
