Staring in engine throttle actuator control module, internal circuit mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor drive by wire-mil (k132), circuit open you can see the exhaust bank 3 mixture adaptation range 3, lean limit not reached is the final reason of the code. |
17861 Possible Causes:
17861 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
What To Check After Fixing 17861 Code
- Inspect all the connections intake manifold runner position sensor / switch, circuit high bank 1
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
