When you open intake flap motor 2 (v275), open or short to ground it can suddenly lead to a significantly more o2 sensor negative current control bank 2 sensor 1, circuit high and throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'f', circuit range / performance will delay your vw fault. |
17860 Possible Causes:
17860 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
What To Check After Fixing 17860 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 2 sensor 4, circuit intermittent / erratic bank
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
