17860 Description And Summary : |

When you open sensor 3 for intake air temperature (g520), signal high it can suddenly lead to a significantly more exhaust pressure regulator vent solenoid, control circuit / open or reductant / regeneration supply control, circuit low is the final reason of the code. |
17860 Possible Causes:
17860 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
What To Check After Fixing 17860 Code
- Inspect all the connections throttle position output, circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
