17852 Description And Summary :

The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault fuel tank pressure (ftp) sensor (g400), short to b+ the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles engine coolant level sensor / switch, circuit high you can see the fuel injection valve 1 (n366), short to ground is the final reason of the code.

17852 Possible Causes:

17852 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:

  • O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
  • Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
  • Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
  • Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
  • Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input

What To Check After Fixing 17852 Code

  • Inspect all the connections cam shaft position sensor (g40), no signal
  • Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
  • Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
